Better than any of this - I use monistat chafing cream which is $5 which can add up but HOLY FUCK a dime amount on each thigh lasts all day

I love dresses and skirts! I have many, and I keep getting more. They are kind of freeing and cool for warm weather, except for the whole thing where if I do not have a buffer between my thighs they become awful. I own spanx not for their slimming/smoothing properties, but entirely to keep my own fucking legs from wearing holes into each other. Do you know what is not freeing and cool? A pair of spanx. Tights and hose are also awesome, but also not particularly freeing, as my tushie is vast like mountain, and finding ones that just…fit is a rare thing.
I’ve often thought that I should just get some lighter bicycle shorts, but I will also try some of these other ideas IT NEVER OCCURRED TO ME THAT THEY WOULD JUST. MAKE PRODUCTS FOR THIS.
Deodorant on thighs: I have not tried this but might, just to see how it goes.
Monistat anti-chafing cream: Not a miracle, but still pretty effective; like a good 85% relief. A really good option.
Cutting a pair of leggings into a pair of bike shorts for under my dresses: my no-shame this-is-a-thing-I-do-as-plan-A-mosta-the-time solution.
I literally wear bloomers. Made from t-shirt material. My thighs love me because of them. And I am the type of person who gets fucking fungal infections on my upper inner thighs because the air never gets to circulate there; everything touches and nothing feels beautiful. But bloomers! I highly recommend them because they are loose enough to feel airy, feminine enough to look adorable, and obviously utilitarian.

Good Omens is one of my favorite books for many reasons, but most likely for these incredibly contrasting and fabulous characters. Like, a couple of weeks ago I met Kieron Gillen and McKelvie and I always wanted to convey my feelings into a thing. This was me standing in line at the signing. My friend Natasja was like (◡‿◡✿) all the time.
I was so nervous that I finally got over my nervosity and got mellow and I constantly felt like I ignored Jamie McKelvie and when I walked away I was like ‘OH GOD, I MADE AN ASS OUT OF MYSELF’
I also brought him presents. Because I was like ‘I need to give this man presents because he made me cry’.
And I had nothing for McKelvie. I seriously felt horrible.

So earlier today I was curious on how it tasted like so I ordered one at the cafe and it was the one of the most biggest mistake that I have ever made in MY LIFE BECAUSE IT WAS SO BITTER AND I CAN’T DRINK BITTER THINGS AND SO I ADDED 4 PACKETS OF SUGAR FOR IT TO BE BEARABLE FOR ME TO DRINK SINCE IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE AND I GULPED IT UP AND THEN IT HAPPENED
I COULDN’T SIT DOWN PROPERLY AND I WENT TWIRLING AND PRANCING AROUND THE MALL AFTERWARDS BECAUSE I CAN’T. STOP. MOVING.
Coming home I blacked out because everything was spinning and that was the first and last time I’m trying out other coffee. EVER.

No no. Start small. Get used to coffee first. Then build up until you can down espresso and turkish coffee like it was NOTHING! It’s all about tolerance!

I think that a lot of the reason Jarvis has become so human is because Tony treats him like he’s human. Tony talks to Jarvis in a very colloquial way. He says “you up?” when he knows damn well that Jarvis is operational. He says “throw a little hot-rod red in there” instead of “paint components x, y, and z with red paint #20.” Tony treats all his machinery like that—Dummy and You, especially—and Jarvis is no exception.
Jarvis has become much more human since Iron Man 1. He actually displayed emotions in Iron Man 3—specifically when he feared for Tony’s life, his voice sounded terribly frightened, and in instances like the second gif where he said “I need to sleep” and not “My battery is depleted.” Jarvis has grown and changed, as any self-aware creature does. He has become human because he is treated as such.
