Knowing where people are at all times has got to be super useful for fighting. And when you’re hiding from someone.
If you’re not reading Skin Deep, you really should change that. It is glorious.

Shan, Autumn and I have been kicking around the idea of collaborating to make a comic adaptation of Dracula.
Just some preliminary sketches from when I got the idea, mostly Harker with a possible Dracula in the upper right.

Random abstract sketch?
Not quite. This weird ball thing was the only thing I remembered from a dream I had last night. It was spinning, like a planet. And the big, thick cords were similar in texture to bungee cords.
Wanted to sketch it, cause I couldn’t get the image out of my head.

I don’t get much time for my own work these days. So I sat down to do some practice sketches before bed tonight, and this happened.
I missed drawing Crawford so much, and Chris Hemsworth is such a great reference source for him—the reference image is covering up the had that I botched.
(Crawford is from a graphic novel that I have been very slowly working on for quite some time. Some day it will get made.)
1) Download this free plugin pack. The specific filter you want for this is “Ghost,” but obviously if you want to keep the others to try, it’s your call.
2) Unzip “Ghost” to Photoshop’s Plugins > Filters folder if you have Windows. You can follow these instructions for a Mac.
3) Restart or…messes with colors of manga pages forever
There’s filters for this sort of thing? I’ve always just done it myself, and quite easily:
1) Go to the “channels” panel.
2) CTRL+click on the top channel
3) Select > Inverse
4) New layer
5) Fill with desired color
6) Deselect and fill background layer with white.
I don’t even know. But hey, I did a doodle. Rocky from Lackadaisy, only old. And still crazy.

I was charged with designing a fairy character for an RP. Based him off a butterfly. So you have his mostly human form, his “natural” form and the form that I’ve dubbed “angry butterfly.”
A bunch of stupid sketches. Revisiting an old, old style. What isn’t Homestuck-related is an original character of mine.
Further abuse of my original character, Crawford. This time in the 1920’s-ish style.
